Training at the Bujinkan Butoku Dojo

Everyone trains at the speed and intensity that is best suited to their body "type" and abilities. We strive for a fast paced and fun environment that is conducive to all learning needs. While we are constantly working to expand our capacities, no one is forced to do things beyond their current limits. We do not yell and scream at our students like drill sergeants. The general atmosphere is one of "friends working together to help each other learn and grow."

Training Attire

The dress code for the Bujinkan Butoku Dojo is fairly informal.Persons attending class for the first time should wear loose fitting comfortable clothing and some type of "clean" footwear (bare feet and socks are okay too).  A t-shirt and sweat pants very common. While regularly training members of the Bujinkan Butoku Dojo wear the standard black Karate Gi, Kyuhan (leggings) and Tabi (Japanese footwear), we do not advise new Dojo members to purchase a Gi until they expect to train with us for an extended period of time.

NOTE: Due to the Covid-19 virus, ALL who attend class must wear a mask during class. If this rule is not

followed you will NOT be admitted into the dojo. Hand sanitizer will be provided.
